11th Annual Hand UP For The Holidays Radiothon

United Against Poverty and 93.7 GYL, 97.1 Ocean FMB 94.7 Fresh Country and News Talk WTTB 1490/105.7 FM are gearing up for the 11th Annual Hand UP for the Holidays Radiothon. Call in on November 7 to make a pledge on the Toll-Free Line, at 855-YES-FOOD (937-3663) or online at UP Center website. For most of us the holidays are a time of joy and celebration. However, for 72,000 families on the Treasure Coast this time of year is a source of stress and uncertainty. It is our hope that no family will have to suffer during this holiday season or for holidays to come. Through sustainable programs that your gift supports, we can continue to provide families with permanent solutions to issues related to poverty, such as hunger and homelessness. Your donation will provide valuable crisis stabilization services, life skills workshops and workforce development opportunities designed to break the cycle of poverty. We are asking businesses and individuals to secure challenge pledges in advance. A business can select a specific time segment and your challenge will be read on the air during that time to generate matching gifts. Just think, you can raise awareness for your business or organization and also inspire others to match your donation dollar for dollar – multiplying the effectiveness of your donation exponentially! Call Phillip at (772)-770-0740 for more information.
