Product partnerships with major retailers and manufacturers make our hunger relief programs viable and stretch their impact to help us provide crisis intervention and long-term solutions through our educational, job training, and job placement programs for people living in the level of poverty. These programs result in families exiting poverty and achieveing economic self-sufficiency. Donated product does much more than fill stomachs, it literally transforms lives. UP of Indian River County welcomes corporate groups from 5 to 500 to volunteer and support the programs and services offered at our campus, located in the heart of Indian River County. With flexible options available to engage all ages, abilities and group sizes, it’s easy to mobilize your team and make a positive and tangible contribution to the community. STEP Employment Partner

Become a STEP Employment Partner

Students in our Success Training Employment Program learn the professional skills needed to become skilled, dependable and hardworking employees. Following 90 hours of in-class instruction, students spend six weeks interning with our Employment Partners where they receive additional job coaching and mentoring to help build confidence in the workplace.

We are currently seeking Employment Partners in the Indian river County, Florida area who are willing to host a STEP student interns. No stipend or wage is necessary, and there is no commitment to hire following the six week program. To learn more, please contact our Programs Director, Carla Cox, at Carla@upirc.org.
