Orchid Island Golf & Beach Club holds an annual 5K run/walk to support area organizations. Each year the proceeds from the event benefit a local charity or cause, which is determined earlier in the year by the Club’s Fitness & Wellness Committee. This year the Committee selected the Vero Beach High School Marching Band, but due to COVID-19, the event had to be canceled. However, this setback did not stop the fundraising efforts of the Members at Orchid Island. In fact, they raised enough funds to also support United Against Poverty (UP) of IRC!
